Bee trouble bad news for food supply

Next time you dig into your favorite food, you may want to thank a pollinator or two for getting it onto your plate – and hope they find new ways to thrive.
The roles pollinators like bumblebees, honeybees and other species play in boosting plant reproduction isn’t something that people typically think about.
But it’s hard to imagine the natural world running well without them, as farmers like Jason Pagel of Oronoko Township know well.
